Quality Systems Engineer

Supports and assists in the maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) as the Management Representative. Supervises the maintenance of active job data.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (and all other duties as assigned)

  • Conducts internal audits on AS9100 and NQA-1 standards
  • Maintains Quality System Documentation
  • Assists in planning, maintaining, and conducting internal and external audit schedules and reports
  • Participates in contract review when required
  • Ensures all job quality administration duties are conducted as planned
  • Assists in the review of FARS/DFARS for their applicability to Paragon
  • Maintains SQDIP processes and continuous improvement efforts
  • Completes and assists other in completing corrective actions as required
  • Maintains ITAR compliance

Qualifications

At least 5 years’ experience in a Quality Systems role with experience in the machining field required. Previous knowledge and understanding of QA programs and applicable elements as well as auditing compliance including scheduling and conducting audits.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
